DARKE COUNTY – On Monday, at approximately 4:36 p.m., Darke County Deputies along with Greenville Township Fire and Rescue and Greenville City Fire and Careflight, responded to the 3300 block of OH 571 for a two-vehicle injury crash.
Preliminary investigation revealed a black Kia Sorento driven by Kathryn Montgomery (21) of Greenville and her infant child passenger were traveling northwest on OH 571 and were struck after she made a left-hand turn in front of a white Nissan Sentra, traveling southeast on OH 571, driven by Gabriela Edwards (18) of Union City.
Edwards was flown to Miami Valley Hospital aboard CareFlight, and her front-seat passenger Gabriella Pisano (18) of Union City was transported to Wayne HealthCare. Montgomery and her son were treated by EMS at the scene and released.
