DARKE COUNTY – On Friday at approximately 5:35 PM Darke County Deputies, along with Ansonia Fire, Ansonia Rescue and Union City Rescue were dispatched to the intersection of SR 49 and SR 47 in reference to an accident with injuries.
A preliminary investigation revealed that a White 2018 Ford Escape driven by April Foster (29) of Dayton was traveling north on SR 49 at SR 47. Foster failed to yield the right of way from a stop sign traveling into the pathway of a Gray 2023 Kia Carnival driven by Emily Bubeck (31) of Ansonia, who was traveling West on SR 47. Foster and her front seat passenger Stephanie Young (44) of Dayton, along with four juveniles, were transported to Wayne HealthCare by Ansonia Rescue and Union City Rescue. Bubeck and a juvenile passenger were treated and released at the scene.
This accident remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office
