DARKE COUNTY – On Saturday at 8:18 p.m. Darke County Sheriff’s Deputies along with Union City Fire and Rescue responded to the 1100 block of Converse Road in reference to a single-vehicle accident with injury.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a Red 2006 Toyota Corolla driven by Jacob Weaver (19) of Greenville was traveling eastbound on Converse road. Weaver failed to negotiate a curve and traveled off the left side of the roadway… striking a tree.
Weaver was treated on scene and released. His female juvenile passenger was transported to Wayne HealthCare for a minor injury.
This accident remains under investigation.
