I have been employed at Zechar Bailey for four and a half years as a transfer
specialist/funeral assistant. I was born and raised in Union City, Indiana, where I
currently reside. I am married and have six children, five grandkids, with one more due this
year.
Part of my past work history includes being a Deputy Sheriff and a Sergeant
in the jail division of the Randolph County Sheriff’s Department. I was also employed as
a funeral assistant for Walker Funeral Home in Winchester, Indiana, for several years.
At Zechar Bailey, I enjoy helping with Brookdale Birthdays, Ansonia 4th of July
Festival and Versailles Poultry Days.
In my spare time, I do enjoy traveling, spending time with my family, grilling and
having a BBQ. I also enjoy watching sports, as football and basketball are my favorites.
I especially enjoy watching my grandkids play in their perspective sport or school
activities.
My favorite part of working at Zechar Bailey is working with some great directors
and staff who work together in providing the best possible care and services for each
family that we have the privilege and honor of taking care of. I also enjoy talking with
the families in assuring them that their loved one is in the best possible care.
