DARKE COUNTY – On Saturday, at approximately 7:29 a.m. Darke County Deputies, along with Rossburg Fire and Ansonia Rescue, responded to the intersection of SR 118 and Houk Road for a one-vehicle injury crash.
Preliminary investigation revealed a gray Chevy Cruze driven by Callie Colson (18) of Celina was traveling southbound on SR 118 when she fell asleep, traveling off the left side of the roadway, colliding with a mailbox and a utility pole.
The driver was transported to Mercer Health for minor injuries.
