PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Tucker Miller    Bradford

Bradford’s Tucker Miller was named the WOAC Baseball “Player of the Year” in 2024.
Miller repeats the award having won it last year as well.  Tucker led the league with 4 home runs a .605 batting average and 81 strikeouts. He also was 2nd in the league with 6 wins on the mound.

COACH OF THE YEAR
Austin Schaar   Dixie

Dixie’s Austin Schaar was named the WOAC Baseball “Coach of the Year” for 2024 season.  Schaar’s team won the WOAC league title going 9-1 to record their first baseball conference championship since 1967.

It was an exciting year in Baseball in the WOAC and the league title wouldn’t be decided until the last game of the year with two one loss teams battling it out for a title.  It was the Dixie Greyhounds coming from behind late in the game to overtake Newton 7-4 in the championship game.
