DARKE COUNTY – On Saturday evening, at approximately 6:25 p.m., Darke County Deputies, along with Greenville Township Fire Department, Greenville City Fire Department and Greenville Township Rescue were dispatched to the intersection of US 36 East and Jaysville St Johns Road, in reference to an injury accident.
Preliminary investigation revealed a gray Ford F-150 was traveling east on US 36 near Jaysville St Johns Road. The Ford lost control on the snow-covered road, causing it to go left of center and strike a blue Buick Regal traveling west on US 36. A blue Jeep Grand Cherokee was traveling behind the Buick and failed to maintain a safe clear distance, causing it to strike the Buick.
- The driver of the Ford was identified as Jason Drew (57) of Greenville
- The driver of the Buick was identified as Alora Blackburn (24) of Greenville
- The driver of the Jeep was identified as Daniel Jennings (29) of Bradford
Blackburn was treated and released at the scene. None of the other drivers sustained apparent injury.
