UNION CITY, Ind. – Union City defeated Twin Valley South in Union City’s home-opening match 9-0 Thursday, August 27th.
Scoring tonight for Union City was Junior Eduin Garcia Velasquez with 6 goals and 3 assists, Senior Joseangel Perez-Contreras with 1 goal and 2 assists, Junior Justin Jasso Garcia with 1 goal and Freshman Brady Bermudez added his first varsity goal and Jeferson Solorzano contributed 2 assists. Goalkeepers, Freshman Luis Jimenez-Ulloa and Junior Melquiades Mendoza Pecheco, combined on the shutout for the Indians.
Union City is back in action on Tuesday, September 1st at 5:30 PM with a home match against Elwood.
