UNION CITY, Ind. – The Union City Police Department’s Special Entry Tactical Team (SETT) successfully executed a search warrant on the evening of October 17 in the 1000 block of W. Oak St., leading to the seizure of over 340 grams of methamphetamine.

During the operation, officers arrested Ann Funk-Weimer (44) of Union City, Ind. She faces serious charges including Possession of Drugs (methamphetamine), a Level 3 felony and Trafficking in Drugs (methamphetamine), a Level 2 felony. She is currently being held at the Randolph County Sheriff’s Jail on a $50,000 bond.

Director of Public Safety, Mark Ater stated, “The Union City Police Department is committed to combating drug-related crime in our community. We will continue to target drug dealers and keep our neighborhoods safe.”
