UNION CITY, Ind. – The Union City Lady Indians came out ready to go on Friday and defeated the Randolph Southern Lady Rebels 39-25 to earn their spot in the Randolph County Championship game on Saturday.
UC took a 24-10 lead in at halftime and wouldn’t let the Rebels back in the game after that.
The Lady Rebels continued to fight back after UC’s Oaklee Reichard fouled out early in the 4th quarter, but some senior leadership from Gabby Ordonez and big free throws from Novah Mote sealed the victory.

Union City gained control of the county key and will face off against Monroe Central in the championship game at Winchester beginning at 6 PM.
