UNION CITY, Ind. – The Lady Indians defeated Blue River Valley by a final score of 45-39 on Friday night to advance to the IHSAA Class 1A Sectional 56 Championship tonight.
The Lady Indians were led by Lulu with 19 points and 7 rebounds, followed by Fischer with 10 points and 7 rebounds, while Black and Reichard each added 6 points in the playoff win.
The Lady Indians move to 12-12 overall on the season and will play the Tri Lady Titans for the Sectional Championship at 7:00 p.m. in Union City.
