GREENVILLE – Get ready for an evening of great food, live entertainment and community fun as Brethren Retirement Community (BRC) hosts its Dueling Pianos Fundraiser on Thursday, October 15, at 6 p.m. at the John & Iris Hathaway Education & Community Center, 2011 Sweitzer Street, Greenville.
Guests will enjoy a catered dinner from Beanz Bakery followed by an exciting night of live dueling piano entertainment. The event promises to be a fun and memorable evening while raising important funds for the BRC Resident Aid Fund, which provides financial assistance to residents who have exhausted their personal resources but still need care and support.
“Dueling Pianos is a great way for our community to come together, have some fun and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents,” said Ryan Gathard, Director of Missional Advancement at Brethren Retirement Community. “We are incredibly grateful for the generosity of our community and the local businesses that continue to support BRC and our Resident Aid Fund.”

Silent Auction Opens September 17
The fun begins even before the Dueling Pianos event with BRC’s in-person and online silent auction, featuring a variety of items generously donated by local businesses and community supporters.
Auction bidding will open at 8 a.m. on Thursday, September 17, and bidders can participate in either of two ways:
- Online: View items and place bids from anywhere through BRC’s online auction.
- In Person: Visit the BRC lobby to view the auction items and place bids in person.
Online bidding will close at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 28.
In-person bidding will remain open until noon on September 28, giving those bidding in person an additional opportunity to place the final bid.
Whether you plan to attend Dueling Pianos or simply want to support the Resident Aid Fund, participating in the silent auction is a great way to join in the fun and make a difference.
