Two appear in common pleas

GREENVILLE—Two people appeared in Darke County Common Pleas Court on Thursday. Visiting Judge Stephen Wolaver presided.

Alichia G. Brooks, of Milford, pleaded guilty to possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. Brooks could face up to 12 months incarceration and a maximum fine of up to $2,500. She is represented by attorney Nicole Pohlman. Her sentencing will be at a later date.

Jerry W. Dowell Jr., of Richmond, Ind., pleaded guilty to threft, a first-degree misdemeanor. The original charge of theft, a fifth-degree felony, was amended. Dowell could face up to six months incarceration and a maximum fine of up to $1,000. He is represented by attorney Nicole Pohlman. Her sentencing will be at a later date.
