NEW LEBANON – The Tri-Village Lady Patriots traveled to Dixie to take on the Lady Greyhounds and came away with a 64-20 conference win.
The Lady Patriots took their three-point game on the road with Adalynn Hines and Kenna Wilcox each canning five 3-pointers on the night, with the duo combing for 51 points, Hines 27 and Wilcox 24 to earn their sixth WOAC victory of the season.
What looked like possibly could be a close Thursday night matchup with the score standing at 12-8 after one-quarter of action, played out to an easy Tri-Village win after the dust settled.
Hines bagged three of her treys to go along with a 2-point basket to lead the Lady Patriots with 11 second-quarter points, Tai Mize added five points, and Wilcox hit her first triple of the night, giving Tri-Village a 19-5 second period, sending the New Madison crew to the halftime break with a 31-13 advantage.
Wilcox scorched the third quarter Lady Patriots’ nets for 16 points, including four 3-pointers and two 2-point baskets, and Hines found the range knocking down her fifth three of the night to go along with three 2-point baskets good for nine points, with Tri-Village taking the third by a 25-2 score to lead 56-15.
With a fourth-quarter running clock in play, the Lady Patriots took the fourth 8-5 to earn a conference win and remain tied for first place in the WOAC race.
With the win, Tri-Village improves to 10-3 (6-1) on the season, and Dixie goes to 2-10 (0-6).
