KENTON, Ohio – On Saturday, Jan. 31, the Tri-Village boys powerlifting team participated in the Kenton Regional High School Powerlifting Meet at Kenton HS.
The boys’ team took the Regional Championship by taking 1st place!
Hayden Crawford placed 1st, Mavin Robinson placed 3rd, Owen Walker and Shawn Moore placed 4th, Jesse Plush, Charlie Palmer and Aiden Crumley placed 5th and Garrett Sachs placed 6th in their weight classes. There were 20 schools that competed.
The girls’ team placed 3rd out of 14 schools that competed. Zoe Ayette placed 1st, Charlie Fiset and Renae Brumbaugh placed 3rd, Claira Arnold, Jolie Curtner and Abbie Brewer placed 5th, Gabby Necessary, Kaylie Lytle, Gwyneth Moore and Kaitlynn Brewster placed 6th in their weight classes.
The next team meet will be Feb. 14th at the Clark County Fairgrounds for the Springfield Northeastern Invitational.
