TROY – The boil advisory previously issued on February 14, 2025, has been lifted. The repair to the water main was completed by City of Troy Water Distribution personnel early Saturday morning.
Water samples collected after the completion of the repair have been analyzed by the City of Troy microbiological lab, and all sample results indicate the water is safe to use for all purposes (drinking, cooking, etc.).
If water is discolored, flush the faucet for 1-15 minutes. Some air may also be present in the lines. The City of Troy appreciates the patience of our water customers affected by this incident.
