ARREST SUMMARY 

November 17, 8:53 am. J.M. Deal arrested Joshua T. Brown at McKaig Avenue and S Dorset Road on the offense of Driving Under OVI Suspension. 

November 18, 1:29 pm. H. Bradburn arrested Kari L. Swafford at E Main St. on the offense of Possession of Drugs. 

November 18, 3:51 pm. P.S. Koewler arrested Jessica L. Ratliff at W Franklin St. on the offense of Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle 

November 20, 6:49 pm. L.L. Morton arrested Mark E. Minnich at Race Dr on the offenses of Violate Protection Order or Consent Agreement and Criminal Trespass on the Land Premises of Another. 

TRAFFIC STOP

November 17, 3:54 pm. Ptl. H.W. Bradburn stopped a vehicle for having no county stick on the license plate. An adult male was given a citation for DUS FRA and License Plate-Display. 

November 18, 10:26 am. Sgt. J. Misirian stopped and cited a driver for having expired registration and the plates belonging to another motor vehicle on Main St. and Cedar St. 

November 19, 1:37 pm. Sgt J. Misirian ran a routine registration check on OH REG GZS9031. The registration showed the plates had expired on 10-30-2023. Misirian stopped the vehicle and identified the driver as the owner with an O.H. OL found to be suspended. Misirian reminded the driver of both issues, and he was unaware of both. The driver said he was sure his listed Child Support Suspension was “paid off.” Misirian issued the driver citations for both offenses; he called for a valid driver to assist him and left his vehicle parked in a nearby parking lot. 

November 20, 10:15 am. Ofc. A. McKown observed a traffic violation on Adams St. A traffic stop was conducted, and the driver was cited for DUS and speed. 

ACCIDENT WITH NO INJURY

November 17, 5:53 pm. Sergeant N.H. Freisthler responded to a traffic crash at the McKaig/Dorset traffic circle. Driver cited for failure to yield. 

November 20, 10:18 am. Spohn was on patrol when I was alerted by a citizen to a traffic crash involving a vehicle striking a pole on the North side of the Intersection of S. Dorset Rd and Arthur Rd. No injuries were reported. A power line was down in front of the entrance to Greenville Federal Bank. A report was taken, and a citation was issued. DP&L responded to assure the safety and continued operation of the downed cable of the pole involved. 

DISORDERLY CONDUCT 

November 17, 6:05 pm. A pedestrian notified Ptl. H.W. Bradburn of an intoxicated male being disorderly at S Union St. An adult male was arrested for Disorderly Conduct, Open Liquor Container, and an active Miami County Warrant. 

TRESPASSING COMPLAINT

November 17, 10:52 pm. Ptl. J Beaty responded to Conagra Foods at Dye Mill Rd regarding a trespassing complaint. One male was identified and placed in custody for an out-of-county warrant. 

WARRANT 

November 18, 10:01 am. Troy units responded to Glenmore Ct and located a male subject with a warrant. The male was arrested and incarcerated. 

THEFT NOT IN PROGRESS

November 5, 4:35 am. An Amazon package was stolen from the porch of 55 Carriage Crossing Way. The contents were later recovered inside a stolen/recovered vehicle. A Male suspect has been identified, and criminal charges are pending. 

RECKLESS OPERATION

November 20, 1:01 pm. Troy units were dispatched to the bus garage at Troy High School in response to a report of a Reckless Operation involving a driver failing to stop for a stopped school bus. A video of the incident was obtained, and an investigation is ongoing.
