December 14, 4:05 a.m. – Brandon O. Black was arrested by Z A Bettelon on the offense of Burglary Trespass In Permanent Or Temporary Habitation Of Any Person When Any Person Present and Disorderly Conduct Intoxicated Create Risk Of Harm.

December 14, 11:15 p.m. – Victor G. Hostetter was arrested by M S Mosier on the offense of Driving While Under The Influence Of Alcohol And/Or Drugs and Driving While Under The Influence Of Alcohol/Drugs .17 Of 1 Gram Or More By Weight Of Alcohol Per 210 Liters Of Breath.

December 16, 4:53 p.m. – A Male Juvenile Offender was arrested by P Hinger for Domestic Violence  Knowingly Cause Physical Harm.

December 17, 7:47 a.m.Christopher D Dusko Was Arrested By A C Mckown On The Offense Of Driving While Under The Influence Of Alcohol/Drugs .08 Of 1 Gram Or More But Less Than .17 Of 1 Gram By Weight Of Alcohol Per 210 Liters Of Breath, Driving While Under The Influence Of Alcohol And/Or Drugs, Hit/Skip Crash Publ Roadway, And Failure To Control.

December 18, 3:46 a.m.Keith R III Flory was arrested by D A. Guillozet on the offense of Possessing Drug Abuse Instruments.

ACCIDENT WITH NO INJURY

December 17, 1:07 p.m. – Spohn was dispatched to a two-vehicle traffic accident (non-injury) near 1501 Experiment Farm Road. A report was taken and a citation was issued.

TRAFFIC STOP

December 15, 4:08 a.m. – Ptl. Schlumpf conducted a traffic stop and one female was cited for No OL.

December 15, 12:15 p.m. – Officer K Knoop came in contact with a subject in reference to a traffic stop. As a result, a female subject received a traffic citation.

December 15, 7:33 p.m. – PTL S. Hampton conducted a routine traffic stop near the 200 block of S Union St. The driver was issued a citation for Expired/ Unlawful License Plate.

December 16, 4:46 a.m. – Ptl. J. Deal conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle driving with no lights on. The driver was found to not have a valid drivers license. He was cited for lighted lights and no OL.

December 16, 9:13 a.m. – Ofc. A. McKown conducted a traffic stop for a moving violation observed on N Dorset Rd. The driver was issued a citation for the violation.

December 16, 9:25 a.m. – Ofc. A. McKown – Moving violation observed on N Dorset Rd. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was issued a citation.

December 17, 7:55 a.m. – Officer Spohn conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of W. Main Street & S. Stanfield Road. A citation was issued and a report was taken.

December 17, 1:32 p.m. – Capt. Z.C. Mumford stopped a vehicle for expired registration. The driver was cited for the violation.

December 17, 3:35 p.m. – PTL. S. Hampton conducted a traffic stop near St Rt 718
and Wilson Rd. The driver was cited for Speeding in a school zone.

THEFT NOT IN PROGRESS

December 13, 7:38 a.m. – Officer Spohn was dispatched to 1333 Archer Drive (Big Mike’s Gas Station) to investigate a report of theft. A report was taken, and the investigation is active.

December 14, 4:00 p.m. – Ptl. H. W. Bradburn was dispatched to 1801 W Main St; Walmart for a reported theft that had occurred on the above date. A theft report was taken.

FRAUD

December 13, 2:01 a.m. – Officer Spohn was dispatched to the Ashgrove Court to investigate a Fraud. A report was taken and the investigation is active.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON/VEH/NOISE

December 13, 5:10 p.m. – Ptl Morton notified subject g of being trespassed from local businesses, was disorderly, and ran during the encounter. The subject was taken into custody and pink slipped.

December 13, 10:30 p.m. – Ptl. Schipper responded to the 200 block of Adams St. on a private property crash.

PRIVATE PROPERTY ACCIDENT

December 13, 7:08 p.m. – Ptl. Schipper responded to 700 block of W. Market St. on a hit/skip crash.

December 14, 6:06 p.m. – Ptl Chalfant was dispatched to a private property accident and a report was completed.

December 14, 10:35 p.m. – Ptl. Kimmel was dispatched to a private property accident involving two vehicles in the parking lot of 1801 W . Main Street (Walmart). A report was taken.

HIT SKIP ACCIDENT

December 14, 11:15 p.m. – Officers responded to the area on the report of a private property hit/skip. The suspect vehicle was located a short time later and the driver was arrested for OVI.

December 15, 8:34 p.m. – Sergeant N.H. Freisthler – Sign and tree struck on Dye Mill Rd at Troy Compost Facility. Street Department contacted for the sign. Silver paint scrapings were collected at the scene.

December 16, 8:51 p.m. – Ptl. Schipper responded to 1400 block of W. Market St. on a private property hit/skip. The male was taken into custody on an out-of-county warrant.

December 17, 7:47 a.m. – Ofc. A. McKown was dispatched to a hit-skip traffic crash on Adams St. The Vehicle was located, and the driver was arrested and charged with multiple violations. Reference OH-1 for further information.

December 17, 3:30 p.m. – Hinger P. – A vehicle was traveling northbound on N. Market St. and was run off the road. The suspect vehicle fled the scene.

JUNK VEHICLE COMPLAINT

December 13 – PTL. Marker, Shane observed a vehicle on Williams ST near E Canal ST with a flat F/L and R/R tire. He spoke to the owner and was given until 12/17/2024 to fix it.

December 14, 9:02 a.m. – Sgt J. Misirian located a blue/green Buick LeSabre with a flat, rear, passenger-side tire on Washington/Harrison. He placed a green notification sticker on the vehicle, and he completed a two-page notification form which he gave personally to the owner on Washington St. The owner was given until December 19th, 2024 at 7 am to Repair/Remove the vehicle.

SEX OFFENSE

December 13, 4:01 p.m. – Det. A. Simpson responded to Sexual Imposition incident address, Buffalo Wild Wings Additional report was created for NIBRS reporting due to charges. Supplements copied from the initial report.

PURSUIT

December 14, 1:32 a.m. – The vehicle was stopped for speeding but fled from the stop. The vehicle was able to elude officers but a suspect was later determined. The investigation is still pending.

BURGLARY IN PROGRESS

December 4:05 a.m. – Sgt. Z.A. Bettelon responded to E Main St for a report of a Burglary in progress. An adult male was arrested and charged with burglary and Disorderly Conduct.

DRUG OFFENSE

December 15, 5:19 p.m. – PTL. S. Hampton was dispatched to a report of drug paraphernalia near the 400 block of Stonyridge Ave. The items were collected and stored in the Troy Police Department Property Room as found property.

CIVIL DISPUTE

December 14, 2:32 p.m. – Ptl. Schipper took a report on a protection order violation. 

December 15, 12:35 p.m. – Ptl. Gates took a report on a civil matter involving a vehicle.

HIT SKIP ACCIDENT

December 15, 10:09 a.m. – Ptl. T. Iverson was dispatched to assist a citizen at the Troy Police Department. A Report was taken.

INFORMATION 

December 15, 11:49 a.m. – Ofc. T.R. Weaver responded to a report of a vehicle struck at an unknown location at an unknown time by a hard object causing damage to the rear trunk lid. Information report completed.

THEFT IN PROGRESS

December 16, 5:29 a.m. – Ptl. J. Deal responded to 228 S Oxford St. in reference to a stolen vehicle. A theft report was taken.

TELEPHONE HARASSMENT

December 16, 3:24 p.m. – Sgt. Waite – A female reported receiving harassing sexual messages from an ex-boyfriend.

DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE NON-ER

December 16, 4:53 p.m. – Officers were dispatched to Mystic Ln. S., due to a Squad call. One juvenile male was charged with Domestic Violence.

DISTURBANCE / FIGHT

December 16, 9:22 p.m. – Sgt. Waite responded to Taco Bell for a disturbance between a male and female.

RECKLESS OPERATION

December 17, 10:00 a.m. – PTL. Marker, Shane received a Report of a school bus light violation occurring at Floral Ave & Long ST on 12/13/2024 at 0851 a.m. The incident remains under investigation.

December 17, 10:00 a.m. – PTL. Marker, Shane received Report of school bus light violation occurring at E Water ST & N Market ST on 12/16/2024 at 1456 p.m. Incident remains under investigation.

WELFARE CHECK

December 18, 3:46 a.m. – Ofc. A.L. Gibson was dispatched to a welfare check on Imperial Ct. A subject was arrested, and transported to the Miami County Jail.
