COVINGTON – The Tri-Village Lady Patriots went on the road at Covington to take on the Greenville Lady Wave, the Covington Lady BUCCS, and the Piqua Lady Indians in a preseason scrimmage under the direction of second-year head coach Taylor Rawlings.

“We have to keep building that consistency,” Coach Rawlings said of her young team. “We are young this year, so I think it is transitional, building that confidence from JV to varsity.”

“We have four varsity returners, so we’re pretty young, but building that confidence and that consistency, I think we’ll be all right,” she added.

Looking to the WOAC for the 2024 season, Coach Rawlings is optimistic.

“If we build that consistency and confidence, we’ll be right up there with the best of them,” Rawlings stated.
