Job Qualifications
- Previous head coaching experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to demonstrate enthusiasm and excitement for working with student-athletes.
- Ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times.
- Ability to work with coaching staff at all levels to build the program and to develop athletes.
- Ability to communicate effectively and frequently in a variety of forms with students, parents, administration, coaching staff, and media.
- Ability to develop and communicate organized schedules and clear expectations, both verbally and in writing, to students and parents.
- Candidates must possess, or be able to complete prior to working with students, the following coaching certifications: Pupil Activity Permit, Fundamentals of Coaching, Concussion Training, Sudden Cardiac Arrest Training, Mental Health Training, and CPR as described on the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce website.
