LONDON, Ohio – The Tri-Village Boys Powerlifting Team participated in the 6th Annual Iron Eagle Classic at Madison Plains HS on Dec. 14th. There were 15 schools that participated and around 400 lifters.
The boys team placed 6th. This was a High School meet for 9-12th graders. Hayden Crawford, Shaun Crawford and Aiden Crumley placed First in their Divisions. Owen Walker and Cameron Kimmel placed 3rd and Mavin Robinson placed 4th in their Divisions. Hayden tied the meet bench press record at 200 lbs. and set a new Dead Lift record at 315 lbs. He also set a new overall total of 515 lbs. in his weight class. Shaun set a new meet Bench Press record at 295 lbs. and a new overall total of 720 lbs. in the 155lb. weight class. Calvin Fritz (Valley View) ex TV Lifter placed 4th in the 250lb. class.
The Girls Tri-Village powerlifting team also participated in the 6th Annual Iron Eagle Classic at Madison Plains HS. The girls’ team placed 5th overall. Ashtyn Robinson, Zoe Ayette and Kaitlynn Brewster placed 1st in their weight classes/Div. Kaylee Lytle placed 2nd and tied the meet bench press record at 105 lbs. in the 125lb. class. 9/10th grade div. Isabella Bunting, Kaylee Stark and Deja Leonard placed 3rd in their weight classes/div.
The next meet is on Jan. 11 at the Clark County Fair Grounds Springfield Northeastern is the host school.
