Tri-Village Power Lifting Team participates in 5th annual Iron Eagle Classic

On Saturday, December 16, the Tri-Village Power Lifting Team participated in the 5th Annual Iron Eagle Classic at Madison Plains HS. There were 15 schools and 385 lifters that participated.

The boys’ team placed 6th, and the girls’ team placed 7th out of 15 schools.

In the boys’ lower division, TV had Lathan Wehr placed 4th in the 125 lbs class, lifting 415 lbs. Mavin Robinson placed 3rd in the 125 lbs class, lifting 430 lbs. Evan Duncan placed 3rd in the 185 lbs class, lifting 535 lbs. Landen Moore placed 2nd in the 185 lbs class, lifting 540 lbs. Shawn Moore placed 3rd in the 225 lbs class, lifting 510 lbs. Levi Farmer placed 4th in the 225 lbs class, lifting 490 lbs.

In the boys’ upper division, TV had Shaun Crawford placed 2nd in the 145 lbs class, lifting 630 lbs.

The girls’ lower division TV had Jolie Curtner place 4th in the 115 lbs class, lifting 305 lbs. Americus Hirsch placed 1st in the 125 lbs class, lifting 270 lbs. Kaitlynn Brewster placed 4th in the 175 lbs class, lifting 280 lbs. Deja Leonard placed 2nd in the 185 lbs class, lifting 300 lbs. Zoe Ayette placed 2nd in the 155 lbs class, lifting 345 lbs.

The girls’ upper division TV had Kaylee Stark placed 3rd in the 155 lbs class, lifting 390 lbs. Macy Howell placed 2nd in the 155 lbs class, lifting 405 lbs. Kaylee Rich-Welch placed 1st in the 175 lbs class, lifting 400 lbs, and set a meet record in the Bench Press with 130 lbs.

The Next meet is on January 13 at Springfield Northeastern.
