DARKE COUNTY – The Darke County Commissioners’ July 16, 2024, regular meeting started at 1:30 p. m. with Commissioners Aultman, Combs, and Flatter present. The Commissioners then approved the minutes from July 14.
The examination and allowance of bills were presented and approved. The vouchers for July 16 were: General fund $47,949.75; outside General funds $260,388.59; for a total of $308,338.34.
Transfers of Appropriations were approved for the Treasurer, Developmental Disabilities, and the Sheriff. The Treasurer transferred $57,412.00 for two new employees, Developmental Disabilities transferred $30,000.00 for intergovernmental payments and the second half Medicaid match, and Developmental center placements. The Sheriff had a toner cartridge purchase for $300.00.
An expense request for the Common Pleas Court was approved. Judge Travis Fliehman will attend the 2026 Ohio Judicial Conference annual meeting on Sept. 16-18 in Columbus. The total is $1,181.88.
Fund Advances for Darke County Grants and the EMA were approved. The Grants advanced $2,261.62 for the 2025 Brownfield grant for Treaty Lanes, and EMA advanced $7,000.00 to LEPC-all reimbursement received.
