Tim D. Bracy, age 67, of West Milton, Ohio, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2025, at Kettering Health in Kettering, Ohio.

He was born on May 16, 1957, in Greenville to Linda Yoder of West Milton and the late Nelson Bracy.

In addition to his father, Tim was preceded in death by his nephew, Matt Rupert.

Along with his mother, Linda, Tim is survived by his siblings, Debra (Rusty) Rupert of Wapakoneta, Connie (Richard) Daub of Havre De Grave, Maryland, and Tami (Russ Potter) Bracy of Greenville; his 13 nieces and nephews and numerous great-nieces and nephews.

A proud graduate of Greenville High School in 1976, Tim dedicated over two decades of his life to serving the patrons of Meijer’s in Troy, where he was known for his unwavering work ethic and gentle spirit. He retired in 2022, leaving behind a lasting impact on both his colleagues and customers. Tim was a man of many passions, most notably his love for reading. An avid reader, it was not uncommon for him to devour four to five books a week, amassing an impressive home library of nearly 1,000 titles that reflected his insatiable curiosity and thirst for knowledge. He found joy in the written word, and his literary enthusiasm inspired those around him. In addition to his devotion to books, Tim held a profound appreciation for music. He enjoyed attending concerts and cherished the memories created through the power of song. Tim’s love for music, paired with his soft-spoken demeanor and heart of gold, made him a treasured companion to all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A visitation for family and friends celebrating Tim’s life will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus.

A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in Hollansburg Cemetery.

In Tim’s honor, his family suggests that memorial contributions may be given to a local library.
