Using funds made at their recent Adult Easter Egg Hunt Charity Event, the Winery at Versailles was able to donate to Rustic Hope in Russia, Ohio.

Rustic Hope is a non-profit organization that offers physical, emotional, and spiritual support to parents in need. Their store, The Shed, offers diapers, food, children’s clothing, baby supplies, furniture, household items, toys, etc.

“We brought the egg hunt back this year,” Amanda Enicks of The Winery at Versailles said. “We hid prizes and gift certificates and other fun things. Businesses would donate items for the hunt, and some would donate money. We did a silent auction for some of the items to help raise money.”

With the money the Winery raised at their charity event, they were able to donate backpacks, diapers, wipes, and a check for over $1,000 to Rustic Hope.

“We really like to do something for a good cause that’s local,” Enicks said. “We like to help each other and have done so many different things for really great causes. Rustic Hope really hit us this year. Seeing what they were looking for and needed, we wanted to do our event this year to help them.”

The Winery at Versailles would like to thank the sponsors that helped to raise the money used for this donation: RightWay Food Service, Versailles Ace Hardware, SVG Chevrolet Greenville, Soothing Touch Versailles, 17 West, Hot Head Burrito Greenville, Mcbo’s Lanes, Winner’s Meat farm, Ansonia Lumber Company, Bear’s Mill, Kaup Pharmacy Versailles, Wieland Jewelers, La Carreta 3 Greenville, Ted’s Tasty Treats, and Hotel Versailles.
