DARKE COUNTY – The Darke County Commissioners’ regular June 18, 2026, meeting started at 1:30 p.m. with Commissioners Aultman, Flatter, and Combs present. The Commissioners then approved the minutes from June 16.
The examination and allowance of bills were presented and approved. The vouchers from the June 18 General fund were $54,144.82, the outside General funds were $344,602.03, and the total was $398,746.85.
Darke County Juvenile and Probate, and Darke County Soil and Water had Transfers of Appropriations. Juvenile/Probate for contracts was $7,000.00, and Soil and Water for $113.30 for liability bills.
The Sheriff had a $25,000.00 increase in Revenue and Appropriation for the New 2026 Local Opioid Revenue.
Fund Advances for Darke County Grants were approved. One for the 2025 Brownfield Grant for professional services for Treaty Lanes totaling $3,290.88, and one for the 2025 Box Hangar Grant for CLT Engineering for $1,581.00.
A Letter of Agency for Nebula Solutions for Telcom Service Records was approved by the Commissioners.
A Contract for the Allen Joint Fire Legal Services and the Prosecutors’ Office was approved. The district provides protection for Allen Township, Rossburg, and Burkettsville.
An Engineering Plan with Butler, Fairman, and Seufert, Inc. for a terminal Area Development plan was approved by the Commissioners for $4,790.00.
Darke County JFS entered an expense request for Carla Allen, Sarah Brubaker, and Amanda Barger to attend the OJFSDA Symposium on August 18-19 in Columbus. The total request was for $1,875.00 and was approved.
County Offices are closed on Friday in observance of Juneteenth.
