DARKE COUNTY – Join us on Saturday, May 2 at Historic Bear’s Mill as we welcome spring with open arms! This event is FREE and open to the public from 11am to 5pm. As you browse the unique gift shop, you can sample some products and see what new items that we have available. Then browse “Vendor Lane” to support local vendors with home-baked goods, heritage pork products, grass-fed canned beef products, and more!
Ever wonder if the Mill still works? Well, it does, and we’d love to show it to you. Tag along on a FREE guided tour of the Mill at 12:00, 2:00, or 4:00 and you will see how the mill comes alive.
That’s not all! At 1:00 pm, there will be a brief Celebration Ceremony for the completion of the Millrace Project. This project spanned 8 years and was finished in early 2025. We will be publicly thanking all the individuals, businesses, and organizations that made it possible!
