PIQUA – Apple Farm Service, Brookside Labs, and Edison State Community College cordially invite you to the second annual Farm Forum on Thursday, December 18th, at Edison State Community College in Piqua, Ohio.
The Farm Forum is a free one-day educational opportunity for area farmers and producers to learn about valuable topics in agriculture.
“We’re excited to bring back the Farm Forum,” said Kent Holmes, marketing manager at Apple Farm Service. “Last year, our first year, was a huge success. With over 120 participants and great speakers, we had very positive feedback. The largest request was to have this event come back year after year.”
Attendees at this year’s Farm Forum can hear from 9 different topics, ranging from solar farms to commodity market predictions, managing forage stress, and plenty of topics in between.
“This is a great opportunity to give back to our community of farmers, and learn something new ourselves,” commented Luke Baker, President & CEO of Brookside Labs. “We work with Edison State and Apple Farm Service to cover as many important topics as we can in the short five hours of the Farm Forum.”
Those who attend this year’s Farm Forum will also have the opportunity to earn continuing education unit credits, or CEU credits in multiple fields. These fields include: sustainability, crop management, professional development, integrated pest management, and precision ag credits.
