Paid for by the Committee to Elect Laura Waymire

Dear Editor,

I am writing to endorse the candidacy of Laura Waymire for Darke County Prosecuting Attorney.

In 1999, I had the good fortune to hire Laura Waymire to work in the Donadio Law Office in Greenville, Ohio, as a part-time courthouse runner while she was still in high school at Ansonia High. She successfully graduated as Salutatorian of her class, and I figured I had made a good decision. I could not have been more correct as the years progressed.

Laura came to me with no knowledge or experience in the workings of a law office. She had a fierce determination to learn, and she was a quick study. After high school, she became a full-time legal secretary for the firm while continuing her education in paralegal studies at Ball State.

She then rose to the rank of paralegal and later went on to obtain her law degree. She has been engaged in the practice of law ever since.

Of all the dozens of staff I have hired throughout my 43 years in the practice of law, Laura stands out as one of the finest. Her willingness to help in all facets of the office work, to go above and beyond what was requested and expected of her, and to be a real self-starter made her a very valuable employee.

In addition, the fact that she has experience in working in every aspect of a law practice, from court runner to attorney, makes her an excellent choice as a leader. It is this quality and breadth of experience that will enable her to operate her office staff as the Prosecuting Attorney effectively and efficiently for the residents of Darke County.

It is for these reasons that I heartily and unreservedly encourage Darke County voters to elect Laura Waymire as your next prosecuting Attorney.

Very truly yours,

Raymond M. Donadio, Jr.
