Ralph Jess “Snake” McCreery Jr., 61 of Ludlow Falls, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 7:34 PM at his residence. Snake was born February 3, 1965, in Portland, Indiana, the son of the late Ralph J. McCreery Sr. and Barbara Lucille (Pretzman) Camp.
Snake was a contractor, carnival worker, and drove for the Amish. He was a member of the Greenville Eagles. He loved fishing, shooting guns, and breeding snakes.
Snake is survived by his children, Mike Hofacker, Amber (Josh) Asbury, Amy Johns, Brittany and Rachel Printz, Ralph, Joey, Ryan (Arien) Ricky, and Roxanne McCreery and numerous other children; numerous grandchildren; his siblings Scott Myers, David Myers, Cliff McCreery, and Madonna (Randy) Partin; nephews and nieces, Westley, Jessica, Blair, and Ridge.
A service will be held on Friday July 24, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio, with Ryan McCreery officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help offset funeral expenses.
