GREENVILLE – Fort GreeneVille Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution would like to announce that Phase 2 of the Gold Star monument renovation has begun. Four x four pavers will be installed around the monument site with the names of servicemen who died while serving in the military.
Thanks to the Gerald Subler family (Vietnam), American Legion Post 140, City of Greenville, Lasting Legacy Memorials, Fitzwater Outdoor Maintenance, VFW Post 7262, and Fort GreeneVille DAR, the individual 4×4 pavers are at no cost.
Gold Star families have the opportunity to purchase an 8×8 family paver at a cost of $30. A Gold Star Family includes spouses, parents, children, siblings, and other immediate family members of a deceased service member.
