Forgive me for not coming up with a better column idea this week, but I will try my best.
With all that’s been happening in the lives of my son Jamie and myself, I am at a loss for any new ideas, but I will try my best.
Jamie and I both appreciate the prayers, well wishes and deeds we’ve seen on Facebook as of late. I think it all started with his birthday last month….his 50th. Boy did he get recognized in many ways!
Then he was injured in a fall and that necessitated a hospital visit, but he said he is feeling much better than he did a couple of weeks ago. Then, I underwent surgery to remove what I guess you could call a lesion of which it was cancerous, but completely removed by those in the operating room.
I never suspected that, but I have to live with it and I will do my best.
Jamie and I have upcoming doctor’s appointments and hopefully the good news will keep on coming for us.
My plan is to get our health issues checked out from here on out.
It’s not that much fun being stuck at home and feeling sorry for yourself. Both of us like to get out at times and keep in touch with our family and friends.
We just pray that everyone who is ailing get better medically.
Hopefully, the rest of this month, not to mention December, will be a joyful time for our friends, family and neighbors. I know we’ll be doing more praying for our loved ones. Life is too short not to.

Jamie and I extend our condolences to the families and friends of: Judy Stahl, Crystal Gerstner, James Bolin, Deb Hall, Sarah Mortensen and Nancy Raffel.

Think about it: “God didn’t promise your life without pain, struggles and hardships but He promised to give you the strength to get through them.”
