DARKE COUNTY – The Darke County Commissioners’ July 9, 2026, public session started at 1:30 p.m., with Commissioners Aultman and Flatter present. The reading of the minutes from July 7 th was first and approved, and the examination and allowance of bills for July 9th was next. The General total was $51,396.57; the outside General funds were $312,089.14; and the total was $363,485.71, which was approved.
The Darke County Commissioners had a Transfer of Appropriations to cover the Recorder’s office Doss invoice. The amount was $4,915.00
A Request for Qualifications from the State of Ohio Plans Examiner concerning a Darke County Building Department was requested. All applicants shall submit two copies of their qualifications to Susan Laux, 520 South Broadway, Greenville, Ohio 45331, no later than 1:00 p.m. July 31st, 2026.
The monthly inventory, Obligations and Securities report, was journalized.
Darke County Grants had a change order for First Choice Lead abatement concerning the property at 1747 Hollansburg-Arcanum Road. The change order is to replace the metal roof in its entirety for a cost of $18,004.00. The work is to be done by June 30th, 2026.
