PREBLE COUNTY – Detectives executed a search warrant on May 5th as a result of an investigation into trafficking in methamphetamine. Detectives from the Sheriff’s Office and the Preble County Prosecutor’s Office served the search warrant in the 5000 block of Paint Road in Jackson Twp. The search warrant was the result of controlled narcotic purchases from the residence.
During the search warrant, detectives located approximately three grams of suspected methamphetamine, hypodermic needles and other drug paraphernalia.
Alysha L. Gary, age 35 of New Paris, was arrested and has been formally charged in Eaton Municipal Court with the Aggravated Possession of Drugs, a 3rd Degree Felony, two counts of Aggravated Trafficking in Drugs, felonies of the 3rd Degree, Possessing Drug Abuse Instruments, a 2nd Degree Misdemeanor, and Illegal Use or Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a 4th Degree Misdemeanor.
Gary remains in the Preble County Jail.
