NEW MADISON – The Little Mister and Miss Firecracker pageant was held Friday evening, July 4th, at the newly erected Main Stage Pavilion in the heart of downtown New Madison.
Five young ladies and two young men went on the main stage to showcase their July 4th spirit with their dress attire, interview, and personality for all to see.

In the end, Hudson Pearson highlighted his summer by showing the crowd the size of the largemouth bass he caught, drawing laughter, and was crowned Little Mister Firecracker.

Steven Denny, who was a little shier on stage, was dressed as Uncle Sam, and he was all smiles after getting a trophy for 1st runner up.

In the Little Miss Firecracker, the coveted crown went to Hailey Overholser, whose personality shone during the interview along with her stars and stripes pants and red top.

First runner-up would go to Monroe Bourne in a festive stars and stripes dress and a cute smile.

Second runner-up went to Jesslee Woodward, who was a bit reserved but displayed a cute demeanor and a pretty blue and red dress.
Other contestants were Annie Mikesell and Ivy Simpson.
