DARKE COUNTY—Arcanum Swimmers Ashton Paul and Lani Hollinger are My County Link Athletes of the Week.
Senior Ashton Paul set a new Arcanum boys school record in the 200-yard butterfly shattering the old mark in a time of 2:33.68 on January 15 at the Classics Meet at Miami University. At the Troy Christian Swim meet where he placed 3rd in the 200 IM with a personal best time of 2:26.41 and finished 2nd in the 100 butterfly in 1:08.10.
Senior Lani Hollinger recently competed at the Troy Christian Swim Meet placing 4th in the 100 freestyle in 1:13.98 and 1st in the 100 breaststroke in 1:25.42, both personal records.
