UNION CITY – On Tuesday, October 21st, the Mississinawa Valley-MVCTC FFA chapter had its first quarter meeting where members went over potential events, plans and set regulations for the next quarter.
Motions that members voted on were donating extra fruit from our annual fruit sale to nursing homes, hosting and executing a Dayton Children’s Hospital Fundraising Activity, sponsoring a parent-teacher conference meal, allowing the chapter to cover any member expenses over $250 at national convention, to sponsor members going to the Washington Leadership Conference, help with the community Thanksgiving, and to sponsor chapter college visits. These motions were all passed.
Members ate chicken and noodles made by advisor Carmen Hartzell and played a short game of kickball.
