MIAMI COUNTY – The Miami County Sheriff’s Office was recently awarded a grant in the amount of $87,656.28 to assist with updating deputies’ body-worn cameras. The grant was awarded by the Ohio Department of Public Safety.
Deputies have been utilizing body-worn cameras for over four years. This funding will assist in the purchase and updating of new body cameras for all deputies.
