DARKE COUNTY – On Tuesday at approximately 5:27 p.m. Darke County Deputies along with Bradford Fire & Rescue were dispatched to the intersection of SR 721 and US Route 36 East in Bradford in reference to an injury accident.
A preliminary investigation revealed a black Ford Focus was traveling east on US 36 at SR 721. A white Nissan Pathfinder was stopped on SR 721 facing south at the stop sign. The driver of the Nissan failed to yield the right of way to the driver of the Ford and the two collided.
The driver of the Ford was identified as Tiffany Thompson (42) of Troy. The driver of the Nissan was identified as Sonya Blevins (54) of West Milton. She was transported to Upper Valley Hospital for suspected minor injuries by Bradford Rescue. Her condition is unknown.
The investigation is ongoing at this time.
