This series celebrates the region’s enduring distilling heritage through two limited-edition bourbons that blend history, craftsmanship, and community spirit.
For this special release, each distillery has hand-crafted a unique bourbon blend, with 50% of the bourbon coming from the other distillery. Two historic distilleries. Two distinct blends. One extraordinary series.
Located in the rolling hills of southern Miami County, Indian Creek Distillery, at 7095 Staley Road in New Carlisle, is where tradition truly comes alive. Established by Elias Staley in 1820 on the banks of Indian Creek, the distillery still operates on its original farmstead using the same 1820 copper pot stills to craft authentic frontier whiskey. Now operated by the sixth generation of the Staley family, Indian Creek continues to make whiskey just as their ancestors did over 200 years ago.
Their contribution to the series, Legacy Bourbon, is a remarkable blend of Indian Creek’s signature Andy’s Old No. 5 Bourbon and Hayner Distilling’s Knob Creek–sourced bourbon. Together, this one-of-a-kind blend is rooted in heritage and authenticity. Legacy Bourbon will be available exclusively at Indian Creek Distillery beginning Saturday, November 1, 2025, with only 250 bottles created for this release.
Just ten miles north, Hayner Distilling Co. at 619 Lincoln Avenue in Troy, Ohio, was revived in 2020, a century after prohibition silenced its factory in 1920. Founded by Lewis Hayner in 1866, the company flourished under his nephew William Hayner, who transformed it into the largest mail-order whiskey company in America, shipping fine bourbon to customers nationwide.
For the series, Hayner Distilling crafted a bold four-bourbon blend aptly named Revival Bourbon. Revival Bourbon features two Indian Creek bourbons and two Hayner-sourced bourbons from Bardstown and Green River, artfully married to honor both tradition and innovation. Revival Bourbon will also be available Saturday, November 1, 2025, exclusively at Hayner Distilling, with just 250 bottles produced.
