Melanie S. Nealeigh, 67 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Saturday November 12, 2022 at 1:54 AM at her residence. Melanie was born September 16, 1955 in Limestone, Maine, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Suzzanne (Risacker) Fields.
Melanie retired from Honeywell\Fram and enjoyed raising chickens, going fishing, and camping.
Melanie is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Mike Fields; and her sister, Julie Will.
Melanie is survived by her husband, Keith Nealeigh of Greenville whom she married February 4, 1984; her children and spouses, Kristopher Nealeigh of Dayton, Jack and Katie Besecker of Goldsboro, N.C., and Katie Lynn and Jesse Young of Greenville; her grandchildren, Sean (Jamie) Besecker, Justin (Emily) Besecker, Jase, Ayden, and Jayda Young; her great grandchildren, Riley and Bailey Besecker; her siblings and spouses, Tonya and Mike Patton of Flagler Beach, Florida, Penny Fields of Auburn, Michigan, Kathleen and Dan Ditmer of Laura, Ohio, Chrissy Rapier of Greenville, and Michael Vecera of Greenville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Friday November 18, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Abbottsville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Thursday November 17, 2022 at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Arcanum Rescue.
