Mary Yvonne (Crawford) Greer, 86, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away at her residence on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at 5:44 AM. Mary was born January 3, 1937, in Union City, Indiana, the daughter of the late Alva and Mary (Keagy) Crawford.
Mary worked in Retail Sales at J.C. Penney; she enjoyed bird watching, flowers, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Gerald Greer, on May 25, 2014, and numerous brothers and sisters.
Mary is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Candy and Jeff Stump of Ansonia and Ginger and Kelly Thomas of New Madison; her grandchildren and spouses, Jay Schricker, Darcy and Shane Buckingham, Tyler and Jody Stump, Tara and Nathan Ford, and Kylie and Jeremy Doolin; her great-grandchildren, Holden Long, Kiersten Schricker, Clay Buckingham, Nicholas Buckingham, Hunter Buckingham, Madyson Buckingham, Brooke Stachler, Andrew Stachler, Dylan Stump, Eila Ford, Kaid Ford, Cole Doolin, and Maci Doolin; her great great grandchildren, Kayden Buckingham, and Hadley Long; her brother, Jack Crawford; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at noon at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio, with Chaplain Jacque Collins officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Township Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
