Marcia Rose (Kreitzer) Ballengee, age 87 of Greenville, Ohio passed away peacefully at 8:00 AM on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at her home. Born in Dayton, Ohio on July 27, 1937 she was the only child of the late Merrill & Thelma (Money) Kreitzer.
Marcia was a graduate of Beavercreek High School in 1955, and was a drum majorette during her time there! She and her loving Husband, Harry Ballengee, whom she married in 1955, were very involved in Annie Oakley days and were on the committee for many years.
She was also a lifetime member of OFDAI and Sertoma. Marcia was also one of the founding member of the Greenville Girls Softball team. She really found enjoyment in spending time with her family, as well as crocheting. She loved cooking and was a very good bowler.
She is preceded in death by her parents, as well as her cousins, Pricilla Hopkins and Linda Kreitzer.
She is survived by her adoring husband, who has loved her for so many treasured years. They created a family, three Daughters, Brenda Ballengee, Bonnie Wyke, and Becky Ballengee. They share 5 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchild.
