Lowell Raymond O’Dell, 85, of Arcanum, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at Rest Haven Nursing Home, Greenville, Ohio. Lowell was born December 15, 1937, in Verona, Ohio, the daughter of the late Raymond and Olive (Swank) O’Dell.
Lowell was a farmer and a graduate of Arcanum High School; he enjoyed hunting and, in his early years, enjoyed horseback riding.
Lowell is preceded in death by his parents: his wife, Carol Ann (Bowers) O’Dell, on February 7, 2023, whom he married on October 2, 1959, and his son, Rodney O’Dell.
Lowell is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Gwindelin & Darren Fourman; grandchildren Rachel Massie, Amanda Fore, and Dustin Fourman; great-grandchildren Allie Green; Emmitt and Elliott Fore; Rogan, Roger, Eli, and Hudson Fourman; siblings, Norma Aukerman, Lois Livingston, and Duane O’Dell.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 13, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio, with Pastor Todd Reish officiating. Burial will follow at Greenville Township Memorial Gardens, Greenville, Ohio. Friends may call on the family from 12:00-2:00 PM on Monday, November 13, 2023, at the funeral home in Greenville, Ohio.
