Lisa Kay Reed of Cumming, Georgia passed peacefully into the arms of our Lord at her home in the early days of June. She was born in the Grandview Hospital in Dayton, Ohio on September 7, 1963 to Elizabeth and Tom Reed.

Lisa attended grade school and high school in Greenville, Ohio. She graduated from Greenville High School in 1984. Lisa furthered her education in college majoring in fashion merchandising. She was currently employed by Source Support Services in Duluth, Georgia for the past twenty years.

Lisa was an avid fan of the Georgia Bulldogs and enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys. She was also a strong supporter of various charities.

Lisa is survived by her mother Elizabeth “Liz” Hemmerich of Portales, New Mexico; her brother Scott Reed of Greenville, Ohio; aunt Joan Toomey of the Versailles Care Center in Versailles, Ohio; aunt Sondra Conttrell and cousin Dondi Young of Melrose, Florida; uncle Kevin Young and wife Becky of Greenville, Ohio; cousin Ricky Young and his family of Greenville, Ohio; cousin Ricky Young and his family of Georgia; cousin Teresa Roberts of Dayton, Ohio; her closest friends, Tracy and Steve Ward of Greenville, Ohio; Scott and Hallie Foureman of Bradford, Ohio; Lauren and Tom Lewek of Georgia. She is also survived by her co-worker Christiana and her husband Steve Ivanovics of Georgia.

Lisa is preceded in death by her grandparents Robert and Bertha Young and Wilbur and Mary Reed; her father Tom Reed; aunts and uncles Rollie and Janis Young; Robert Young, Jr.; and Robert and Lucy Murphy.

Lisa will be greatly missed by her family; her many, many friends and by her team of co-workers.

A memorial service for Lisa will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, July 5, 2024, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Reish officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Township Memorial Garden. The family will receive friends on Friday from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made in Lisa’s name to a charity of your choice.
