Life’s Reflections: Congratulations, graduates! May your futures shine bright

Here is Jamie today holding up his senior picture. He graduated in 1994 from our alma mater, Ansonia High School.

I want to commend and congratulate all high school and college graduates this year.
It’s a life-changing event and hopefully will be a successful one for all.

Good luck goes to all in realizing their goals in the future. It’s a special time; that’s for sure.

Everyone will be heading off into various directions and may they be successful paths to all.
My son, Jamie, has been out of school for 30 years and is planning on attending the upcoming alumni banquet in Ansonia.

He will enjoy himself I’m sure. Remember! He’s a people person, and I’m sure he will not only mingle with his classmates but also with others he remembers from Ansonia High School.

I will probably hear about his experiences at the banquet for weeks to come. And, that’s all right.

It’s always great when you get together periodically with your classmates after graduation. These gatherings allow you to catch up on each other’s lives and, of course, reminisce about “the good old days.”

I am always sad to hear when a person says he/she didn’t enjoy their school days.

I hope each and every 2024 graduate continues on with a bountiful life with the careers or jobs of their choosing.

I still get to see a lot of my classmates at various functions or when I’m out and about.
It’s great to stay in touch.

Jamie and I extend our condolences to the families and friends of Elaine Holzapfel, Jenny Knight, Wanda Schroeder, Joan C. Collins and Damian Bruns.
