GREENVILLE – If you have not heard of the local rock band Lätter, they are one of the most popular local bands still taking the stage at area venues. After 18 years of rockin’ local crowds, the band is at its peak when it comes to show requests.
According to lead guitarist Quinten Fyffe, Lätter is scheduled out into 2027 and the requests just keep on coming.
“This is our biggest time since starting the band,” Fyffe stated. “When we take the stage, we want the entire crowd to have a good time and take about three hours to forget about all the stresses of life with us.”
With nearly 20 years under their belt, Fyffe is the sole original member still playing with the band since the beginning in 2008.
“We have had to turn down several gigs due to just too many scheduling issues,” Fyffe continued. “We as a band get along very well and all just love to rock ‘n roll and have fun doing it together!”
In 2013, Lätter had the honor to open for national acts Jackyl and Drowning Pool at Ohio Bike Week in Sandusky, Ohio, and Pop Evil in 2014. This was a great milestone for the band and as we strive to move forward with our own original music, the covers are a great impersonation of what Lätter is all about, as well as a great time with friends who love music.
Lätter mainly plays classic rock cover songs, but has been working on original songs, which will be part of their debut album… expected to be released in late 2027, according to Fyffe.
Frontman Jim Graham said, “I feel like we have never had a bad show… music is like its own therapy. As a band, our formula is outstanding. We all get along and know what our roles are… which keeps things running smoothly. It’s only by the grace of God that I can still continue to perform!”
“Our fans are the greatest around,” added Jim. “The biggest compliment I have ever had came from a fan after a show that was having a very rough week and told me thank you for helping me forget about all the stress for a few hours.”
Lätter’s following of fans has grown immensely over the years, with many fans following the band to all the area venues it plays at. The band currently has a Facebook following of over 4k loyal followers.
