WAPAKONETA – The Greenville Lady Wave varsity tennis team dropped a 0-5 non-conference match to the home-standing Wapakoneta Lady Indians.
First Singles: Riley Capasso (10) lost to Liberty Jolly (10) 6-3, 6-2.
Second Singles: Maddie Lance (11) lost to Kate Eley (11) 6-0, 6-2.
Third Singles: Sienna Gilman (10) lost to Brooklyn Mowery (11) 6-1, 6-2.
First Doubles: Haylee Shuttleworth (12) and Meadow Murphy (10) lost to Anja Walters (11) and Mylie Moser (11) 6-1, 6-0.
Second Doubles: Charlie Pope (12) and Kirsten Horn (10) lost to Hannah Palmer (10) and Nevaeh Dancer (11) 6-1, 6-2.
The Wave is now 5-6 overall and remains 3-3 in the MVL.
The next match will be at home next Tuesday, September 10th, at 4:30, when they take on the Fairborn Skyhawks.
