GREENVILLE – The 2023-2024 Greenville varsity girls soccer team raised in excess of $2,100 for the Cancer Association of Darke County and an additional $300 from t-shirt sales in honor of the late Dave Ernst, veteran Lady Wave soccer coach.
“It was an honor to be a part of this fundraiser but all the credit goes to the Girls Soccer team,” said assistant GHS girls soccer coach, John Table. “They put in the time and effort to make it happen.”
“This was a tough season, but I believe they learned how to persevere through life’s toughest times and can now use that to help others,” Tabler stated. “It was a privilege to coach these young ladies.”
