GREENVILLE – The Greenville Lady Wave softball team’s Monday night MVL game at West Carrollton was rained out and will be made up today, Wednesday, April 29, at Greenville’s Lady Wave Stadium at Stebbins Field.
The doubleheader is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m., with the nightcap slated for a 6:15 p.m. start.
The Lady Wave enters the night with an 18-1 overall record and a perfect 12-0 mark in MVL play.
Greenville will then host the undefeated Troy Lady Trojans on Friday, May 1, in a 5 p.m. MVL matchup at Lady Wave Stadium. Troy comes into the week at 19-0 overall and 13-0 in conference play, while Greenville stands at 12-0 in the MVL, setting up what will most likely be a matchup for the league title.
The two MVL powers are also scheduled to meet Monday, May 4, at Troy, with the 2026 conference championship likely hanging in the balance.
